The FCRHA Celebrates 50 Years of Excellence

On December 2, 2016, the Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority (FCRHA) celebrated its 50th Anniversary at the Fairfax County Government Center. Nearly 80 guests joined in the festivities.  

The event included the presentation of a Congressional Record from Congressman Gerry Connolly’s office (11th District of Virginia), a special 50th Anniversary Proclamation on behalf of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors from Chairman Sharon Bulova, and heartfelt words of gratitude and appreciation from Virginia Delegate Rip Sullivan (48th District) and Fairfax County Supervisor for the Hunter Mill District, Catherine Hudgins. Special awards were presented to the FCRHA and the Fairfax County Department of Housing and Community Development; acknowledging the very important partnership that exist between the two organizations and its shared mission to provide opportunities for residents in Fairfax County to live is safe, affordable housing. The evening concluded with a commemorative 50th Anniversary video; highlighting the rich history of the FCRHA.
