Public Hearing: Help Us Identify Human Services Needs That Exist in Your Community

The Consolidated Community Funding Advisory Committee (CCFAC) is seeking assistance to identify housing and other human services needs which are to be addressed in the county’s Fiscal Year (FY) 2022- 2026 Consolidated Plan and the FY 2022 One-Year Action Plan.

A public hearing has been scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 7 p.m. To ensure health and safety, this meeting will be held electronically due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the public hearing, participants will have an opportunity to make presentations and take part in discussions designed to gather information on the housing and human services needs of county residents. Be prepared to let the county know:

  • What are their household’s housing and/or human services needs and how well are those needs being met?

  • What are specific housing and/or human services needs in the area where they live in the County or where their organization is located? What needs are projected to exist in FY 2022-FY 2026 and will the current affordable housing and human services be sufficient to meet those needs?

  • Have they experienced any discrimination in accessing housing or housing-related needs? If so, how?

CCFAC is also welcoming comments on the performance of the Fairfax County Consolidated Plan and the Citizen Participation Plan.
