Special Update: County Heat Plan Activated Wednesday, Sept. 6

Fairfax County activated its Heat Plan today:
3 emergency shelters for single adults will activate day and night overflow shelter capacity.
Unsheltered residents will receive supplies from outreach workers who check on them. Supplies are also available at shelters, drop-in centers and meal sites.
Cooling centers are open during normal operating hours.
