“Housing Re-Up Initiative” supports affordable housing preservation and rehabilitation
The Fairfax County Department of Housing and Community
Development (HCD) announces the availability of an estimated $1.8 million in federal funding to support the preservation, rehabilitation, and acquisition of affordable rental housing in Fairfax County.
Named the “Housing Re-Up Initiative,” the funds are made available through the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) programs. Learn more on the HCD website.
