Up to 10 applicants will receive a $5,000 scholarship toward postsecondary education including technical training.
Scholarships are available to Fairfax County residents who live in affordable housing supported by the FCRHA. Applicants must be accepted into an accredited postsecondary educational institution and have been a resident of Fairfax County for at least six months.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE? Applicants must be:

A member of a household currently receiving housing assistance through the FCRHA. This includes households receiving any type of federal or state rental housing assistance; and households residing in any property owned by the FCRHA.

A resident of Fairfax County, Virginia for at least six months prior to submitting their scholarship application.

Accepted by an accredited postsecondary educational institution: a two-year or four-year college, university, vocational or trade/technical school located in the U.S.

Transcript or GED Certificate: Your most recent report card, a transcript from your postsecondary institution, or GED Certificate, as applicable. All transcripts must include you cumulative GPA to be considered.
