Amy Ginger, Deputy Director for Operations at the Fairfax County Department of Housing and Community Development, was elected president of the National Leased Housing Association (NLHA). The association brings together the affordable housing community on issues related to the provision and administration of federally assisted rental housing.
Ms. Ginger has a decades-long career in affordable housing. Prior to her work with Fairfax County, she was the Director of the Office of Housing Voucher Programs at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

“The population of low and moderate income renters across the country is growing. Now more than ever, affordable housing professionals must rise to the task of ensuring families have access to a place they can afford to call home,” said Amy Ginger, president, NLHA.
During her term as President of NLHA, Ms. Ginger will work closely with the Board of Directors and staff in their work to serve America’s affordable rental housing needs through legislative advocacy and industry related education.
