FCRHA Board of Commissioners Elect Chair and Vice-Chair

The Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority (FCRHA) elected its chair and vice chair at its annual meeting on September 18, 2026. Lenore Stanton will serve as Chair, and Cynthia Bailey as Vice Chair. Ms. Stanton has served as Chair since 2024, leading the FCRHA Board of Commissioners. 

Representing the Hunter Mill District, Ms. Stanton has extensive experience in affordable housing, serving in various leadership positions at Freddie Mac for almost three decades. Ms. Bailey, representing the Sully District, is a former Deputy County Attorney in the Fairfax County Attorney’s Office where she served for 25 years. She worked as a criminal defense attorney prior to her position with Fairfax County.

Ms. Stanton and Ms. Bailey are joined by a team of commissioners appointed by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors.
