The Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority (FCRHA) re-elected its chair and vice chair at its annual meeting on July 17, 2025. Lenore Stanton will serve as Chair, and Elisabeth Lardner as Vice Chair. Both were elected to these roles in 2024, and this will be their third term leading the FCRHA Board of Commissioners.

Currently representing the Hunter Mill District, Ms. Stanton has extensive experience in affordable housing, serving in various leadership positions at Freddie Mac for almost three decades.
Ms. Lardner was an FCRHA Commissioner from 2001 to 2015 and was reappointed in 2021 as Commissioner for the Mount Vernon District. She has served as a Chair of the organization in the past. Ms. Lardner is a nationally recognized landscape and planning architect who has served on multiple boards, authorities and commissions.
Ms. Stanton and Ms. Lardner are joined by a team of commissioners appointed by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors.
