Virginia Housing Providers Invited to Participate in Statewide Housing Study
In March 2020, the Virginia General Assembly passed HB 854 directing Virginia Housing and the Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) to conduct a study of state policies and programs which influence the creation and preservation of affordable housing. HousingForward Virginia is assisting Virginia Housing and DHCD with this effort, which requires significant engagement with practitioners and advocates across the commonwealth.
Participate in the Survey
The Virginia Housing Programs and Policies Survey is an opportunity for housing providers to share detailed and meaningful feedback on any and all state-administered housing funds, policies, and programs your organization uses. We are also interested in learning how race and COVID-19 have affected the affordable housing arena. Your responses will be used to educate policymakers and influence policy changes.
Take the Survey
The deadline to complete this momentous survey is Wednesday, January 20, 2021. Your answers will influence the future of housing policy in Virginia.
