The 5-Year Consolidated Plan for Fiscal Years 2022 - 2026 and the FY 2022 1-Year Action Plan is now available online for public comment. The Plans identify the County’s housing and community development goals, and address critical community needs by guiding the spending for three federal funds:
Community Development Block Grant
HOME Investment Partnerships Program
Emergency Solutions Grant, to address critical community needs.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PERIOD FEBRUARY 9, 2021 UNTIL MARCH 23, 2021
Each year, Fairfax County expects to receive roughly $8.5 million in federal funding to support activities which focus on meeting critical community housing and human services, and community development needs.
