ABOUT

The Residences at North Hill opened in 2023. It transformed under utilized land into a mixed-income community with 279 units of affordable housing, a 175-unit market-rate townhome community and a 12-acre public park. North Hill was developed by Virginia-based Community Housing Partners and Philadelphia-based Pennrose (CHPPENN I LLC).


Fairfax County resources applied to create The Residences at North Hill include

  • 33 acres of public land (owned by the Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority)

  • Awarded 68 federal project-based vouchers

  • $4.4 million in local financing from the Affordable Housing Development and Investment Fund
