Farewell to Christopher Craig, Braddock District Commissioner

The Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority (FCRHA) recognized Christopher Craig for his leadership and guidance as he completed his term of service as the Braddock District Commissioner to the FCRHA in June 2020, after nine years of service.

Commissioner Craig’s distinguished service as a member of the FCRHA included participation in the Authority’s Planning and Development and Finance Committees. On several occasions, he volunteered his time to serve on the Consolidated Community Funding Advisory Committee/FCRHA Working Advisory Group, which strengthens coordination between the FCRHA and CCFAC, and determines the designation of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) funds for FCRHA projects.

Commissioner Craig played a critical role in a variety of FCRHA policy decisions and development projects affecting residents in Braddock District and across Fairfax County, including the One University project and the FCRHA’s designation as a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) “Moving to Work” agency.

The FCRHA wishes Mr. Craig great happiness, success, and prosperity in all his future endeavors.
