Expanding Housing Choices for the Future of Virginia September 29, 2022 5 to 7 p.m. Van Metre Hall, Mason Square at Arlington Register Today
In 2021, law firm McGuireWoods released a study, “Zoning and Segregation in Virginia: Part 1,” which examined why neighborhoods remain racially and economically segregated a half-century after the Fair Housing Act of 1968. Removing barriers for less-wealthy households to live in or near high-amenity communities opens more economic opportunity.
Presenter: Scott Adams – Partner, McGuireWoods Scott heads McGuireWoods’ Land Use Practice Group and is a leader in the Northern Virginia land use and development field.
