FCRHA Featured at National Housing Conference

The Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority (FCRHA) was recently featured in a national conference of public housing authorities, all of which are designated as Moving to Work (MTW) agencies by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.  The 2024 Moving to Work Conference, attended by over 400 participants, highlighted the innovative work of the FCRHA in utilizing MTW authority in the development and preservation of affordable housing.  The FCRHA was also featured in a discussion on the Family Self-Sufficiency program, highlighting key successes and outcomes of Fairfax County households participating in the program.  Often called “America’s Housing Policy Lab,” Moving to Work provides the FCRHA with the authority and flexibility to implement local innovative strategies to better serve Fairfax County communities.  Learn more at: Moving to Work in Fairfax County | Housing and Community Development .
